whoever got Saddam into power and supported him has one hell of an apology to make. Any idea who that was?? Lessee... A nation armed to the teeth with Soviet and French equipment.. Saddam possessing a library of books relating to Stalin... 1.3 BILLION barrels of oil "allocated" to the Russians and another 100 million "allocated" to the French... Saddam being good buddies with folks like Primakov and Chirac... France and Russia defying the majority of the UNSC last spring to enforce the unanimous decision that Saddam was in material breach.... Yeah... that gives us a few ideas as to who supported Saddam's regime. Hawk
