Don, Bush reminds me of a UPS delivery man. Always in a rush to do things. He declared Mission Accomplished before it was time. He started the Iraqi war before the weapons inspectors finished their job. He started his campaign for President in Marc, the earliest start of a re election campaign in history.

I don't think Kerry has to compete with Bush on this. He needs to be cool, analytical and decisive. What is the hurry for a VP? After all, isn't the VP who gets up every morning, opens the bedroom window the first this in the morning and if it is sunny decides to golf after checking on how the President's health is that day. Off course in Bush's case it is "exactly the opposite" and hence it is important for the people to know who Bush's VP is not Kerry? Kerry does not have to rely on his VP. If he was called to testify in front of the 9/11 commission, he would go in to testify all by himself, not with his VP?
