Who cares? Kerry is a moderate now and very acceptable to moderates and honest conservatives. Many politicians evolve over time. Bush's father was once pro-choice and anti Reagan tax cuts. Remember "Voodoo Economics"? Bush Sr. was condiered almost liberal back in the early 80's. Zell Miller was also once pro-choice and a moderate. People change as the world changes. What Kerry is now is a centrist democrat and very acceptable to the mainstream. He will be much more fiscally conservative than Bush.
