JohnM thinks also but he just doesn't think carefully enough and well enough. His tendency to believe, known also as "bias", directs his thought processes.

I always wanted to meet someone who thought they were God. Above it all, as it were. Unbiased as it were. It is definitely a big problem with academics. Good to know it's no respector of political persuasions.
