A Canadian Ion-Lithium super polymer battery producer. Holds patents on a battery recently (Oct.2003) chosen by NASA for their spacewalk missions battery packs, that claims the longest run of any other. Also markets the Scribbler Tablet PC with a non rechargeable run time of 8 hours. Has an agreement with Exide, is developing an electric vehicle ( presently participating in the Tour de Sol :www.nesea.org/transportation/tour/2004entrants2 with a range 0f 200 to 300 km.)
This is presently trading at around 1.00$ canadian after Q2 financials which dissapointed investors anticipating huge and fast gains.There may still be some short term downside to the sp.
This is worth a look if you have a medium to long term approach. No debt, 15 -16 M cash on hand, company owned production facilities, has gone from theory to concept to production relatively recently. Most of the shares are in the hands of insiders.The CEO is also the inventor which may not be a good thing but does offer strong technical credibilty.
Worth a look and some DD. I have been in it for the last two years and feel it is not getting the exposure it should. The management has been weak in that respect.
