Bearcat - Your efforts to provide some insight to this board on energy issues the world faces are wasted on people who have no clue and they dont want to know. Kerry supporters are no different than many Americans.

This Summer our nation's electric grid is only a little better prepared to avoid a repeat of the Northeast blackout. This will take years to correct once the will power to correct it is mustered. For now each year the risk of failure increases.

We are facing both internally and externally so many strains on the energy complex it is mindboggling. Hey it is easy to scapegoat, but it is not the politicians, it is the populace.

We dont want be near new power lines, nor refineries, nor oil wells, nor coal plants. We dont want to reduce the use of energy, we dont want to increase our production or increase our imports, etc.

I have profited very smartly over the years because of this energy ignorance. The next 10 years will provide a thorough education to all the energy ignorant.

Sit back and take their money, maybe they will learn then.
