Arab countries refused to do anything about saddam hussein, so why are you gloating over them refusing to do anything with saddam hussein gone?

Who's gloating? I am amazed that Bush would even ask the Arabs to assist in Iraq. I have to assume its a Bush attempt to make the Arabs look lame. There are very few Arabs who think our presence in Iraq is a good thing.

Tells us how you would see arabs helping the people of Iraq if we pulled out. The cannot even help themselves without our support.

First of all, the US has got to stop acting like an overprotective parent........and let the Arabs do what they've got to do. Its disgusting how patronizing we can be.

Secondly, we need to focus on cleaning up our own house....weaning ourselves off oil and minding our own business. At best, we can function as a neutral arbitrator in disputes like the Palestinians and Israelis........nothing more.

Since WW II, we have rarely made great cops and usually end up doing more bad than good.
