I dont know what the deal with the war on this thread. I do know the RMBS story like the Qcom story did in 99, brings out strong feelings. I however dont understand why SI DAVE needs to monitor a thread, It should be monitored by the moderator who created the thread. The SI police have been very haphazrd in how the enforce TOU, and I had a problem with BOB dating back a year or so. I have witnessed the random, and often hypycritical(as certain owners of IHUB and SI broke their own TOU) actions of The SI police. I have seen posters who I value here on SI leave because of this behavior. I have seen recently SI Dave antagonize others(Jay Chen as an example). Its not just what they do, its kinda how they do it. We in essence are the customers here, and I think SI needs to understand that better. This is not the badlands where they can just do as they please when they please. I have been threatened, cursed at, and worse on these threads. I have sent notices out to SI and nothing got done. There is happhazrd enforcement, which I think is patently unfair. I have been a model SI citezen so its very hard for DAVE to push me aside, and ignore my rants. If I had been other posters Id probably have been booted allready. Yet I ask SI to hold accountable their decisions to boot certain memebers and I get glib, sarcastic reply's rather then fair explanations. As a customer I am entitled to know why valuable people have been booted. In many casses I probably wouldnt disagree with many of them. However as a 2nd generation survivior I dont tollerate Censorship, or heavy handed authority.
