Break with Convention not helping John Kerry lowellsun.com SEN. JOHN Kerry seems to be doing everything possible to help President Bush win re-election. At a time when Bush has nothing but bad news coming his way from the photos of Iraqi prisoners being abused and sexually humiliated at the hands of U.S. servicemen to the highest gas prices in the country's history Kerry seems unable to reach voters. Particularly in the all-important swing states, where the election will be decided. Last week, after Bush took another barrage of bad news from both the national and international fronts, what does Kerry leave the Sunday talk shows to discuss? Whether he will actually accept the Democratic nomination for president at the July convention in Boston....
