My brother used to have a saying, "believe nothing of what your read and only 1/2 of what you see". Looks like this might fit into that. We were both marines, we were both in combat situations, neither of us ever saw what that marine is describing. Now if he had said a lower level noncom said those things, I might believe it, but in my experience Officers were far more gentlemanly then that story lets on. Incidentally, I was NOT an officer, I was one of the grunts. jdn
