I'm sorry you can't see the mental and physical similarities between Ignatius Reilly and Michael Moore. How can you distinguish between the two? Take a look at this:

Then compare with the book's cover, noting specifically the sword and the hot dog:

Then tell me there's no resemblance.

I suggest you also read A Confederacy of Dunces.

Especially the part about Ignatius selling Lucky Dogs. Looks like Moore got more than his fill.
