One has to reading the supporting documents to get a full understanding of the action. it has been rumored that the vc lowered his weapon, ran around and was cowering while trying to hide behind a building when kerry found him and killed him. if he in fact was cowering and kerry killed him it was an execution. these are just rumors..... the supporting documents will clear the air and hopefully declare the rumors false....
