Some of these folks find it impossible to admit a mistake, any mistake. They are the mirror image of the left. The left has michael moore--the right has Rush. Anyone who deviates from Bush admin is wrong.
In an earlier post, i said once can still be a neocon and not buy into the strategy and tactics of this war. There are neocons out there who feel DOD and CIA have blown it. We used to be resented around the world for going it alone. I didnt care about that. Now, after the chalabi affair, sex in the prisons, the constant flip flop in policies without admitting to any errors or changes, etc etc. , we have become the laughing stock of the world.
Bush admin bears an uncanny resemblance now to Humpty Dumpty and they are running out of time if they want to "put all the pieces back together again". mike
PS After Hasterts rebuke of McCain and general right wing abuse of military heroes in congress, whether it be Mccain, Kerry, or Cleland, i am beginning to believe that Kerry will delay the acceptance of the nomination for the money and offset that with John McCain on his ticket. McCain will just say "Country over Party" and destroy any chance Bush has to win.
