Interesting stuff. At least 3 of the dissidents are related to Magna which is also headquartered somewhere North of TO. Were these guys shareholders ? A lot of money has been made by Magna big whigs over the years. I wouldn't be surprised if they were able to raise a lot of money just from their associates. The whole of DMX is currently worth little more than Frank makes in a year for a part time job.

Also, you could spit from Novopharm's office to DMX's if the wind was right. You have to think that Jacques Messier must have known DMX and RK for quite a while.

The Oxo guy is perhaps the most important however. His presence is key and we'll have to wait for the circular to see if it means anything. The Oxo deal has to be re-structured in order for current shareholders to have a chance regardless of who the management is.

Who was at the shareholder meeting a few years back when REK lost a vote when everyone in the room voted against a proposal and she declared it passed ? It'll be fun to see if she tries that again <g>. I think you'll see a few MMC lawyers on hand this time.

With the AGM moving up, we should get an early look at Q4. I wonder if we'll see any surprises ?
