In a field like this competition is the problem. I remember Bigfoot being one of the first "e-mail for life" services.

Now free e-mail services abound: Excite!, Hotmail, geocities offers free mail, iname, etc.

Not that this analogy is perfect, but if you felt like it you would see my point. What Yahoo! does is easy. Few barriers to entry. And how much can they make on web advertising anyway. Hey, newspapers and magazines can charge a subscription fee. Yahoo is FREE. Advertising revenue must support it. A tall order. Worth $1.5 bil mkt cap?????

"But what no one else has is that great brand name: Yahoo!" Well, you've really got me over a barrel there. 'Boo hoo'. Yabbadabbadoo.)

I'm not short as you know but will buy puts in the fall likely.
