I see nothing in 5.0 that allows self reference. MSWIN added PREV in 6.0 but I decided it wasn't worth using it. I just guess at period that would be equal for VAR. Thank Bill, I have a lot to live up. BTW: the EXCEL sheet isn't the way Chande explains it but it doesn't translate to WOW.
