2. Free markets generate the greatest domestic well being. I'm all for free markets. While Bush Sr. signed the North American Free Trade agreement into existence (great); Bush Jr. needs to deal with rising protectionism (which he is not). That's not to say that Kerry will do any better on that file - protectionism has a fairly predictable 4 year cycle, rarely broken, it seems, no matter who is in the White House.
