Am I being more than ordinarily dumb tonite, or does this seem counter-intuitive? Unless the disease was actually reversing in the chemo group. FDA reviewers found that "control" patients who'd received only chemotherapy had been checked for cancer progression at consistently earlier dates than patients who'd gotten Genta's drug. This imbalance could've made cancer progression look worse in the control group, said the FDA
