The speech tonight was bizarre. It's like a parallel universe where things are going really well in Iraq except for a small handful of annoying individuals. Huh? 40 of 2000 reconstruction projects are still going on? 80 roads in Baghdad are shut down? Bombings right at the Green Zone?

Huh?

If this is really what Bush thinks, then it's no wonder that he can bicycle around and smirk at the situation.

This is really, really strange. The strangest thing of all:

Iraq is a fully sovereign country in 38 days HOWEVER it has ZERO control over 135,000 foreign troops on its soil.
