Dave,

All I know is what is contained in the 10K and prospectus. One of
the founders, Keith Bostian, was Executive Director of Microbiology
and Molecular genetics at Merck. I would presume that this is
one reason why they have such a strong functional genomics
platform.

Burton Christensen sits on the SAB (at least I think he's still there)
and was a very influential person at Merck (discovered cefoxitin and
imipenum and led the groups which discovered ivermectin and Proscar).
Between him and Davies and Moellering and ....

...yes, they are surrounded by a lot of good people.
