WE can only hope that Bush will turn it around in iraq over the months he has left in Term #1 regardless whether it helps or hurts his reelection. Do you feel the same way about that last sentence John? mike

It won't happen, Mike. So long as they continue down the present path, and I see nothing that suggests they are changing, matters will only get worse.

I'm a part of the crew that thinks we are growing Al Q types throughout the ME at a horrible rate, a position I've seen argued by Fareed Zakaria. That's the most serious problem. The only way to slow that down is to change administrations in November.
