Exactly incorrect!!!
The USA is losing it's leadership role in the world for one primary reason--it's population is no longer as well educated in the basics as it was in the past. Reading is the fundamental skill that enables a human being to acquire additional education. When an adult teaches a child to enjoy & appreciate reading, they not only help that particular child, but in the larger picture, they're helping improve the over-all quality of the American population. There's not a finer activity for the Pres of the USA to do than to read a book to children. Those who do not grasp the importance of that fact have a shallow understanding of how America became great in the 1st place.
Your arguments have really become lame of late.
