Knighty, Realistic Americans realize that it's impossible to remain perfectly civilized when someone is trying to kill you. Survival instincts take control & what we consider atrocities sometimes occur. Usually our enemy considers those same activities as a day at the office. Those who yell the loudest re the prison photos never spent a day in the military. Keep in mind that the terrorists decided to push their ideological war on us...not vice versa. Those who protest Iraq act as though we have a choice whether or not to address radical Islam's declared jihad on the USA. We don't have a choice anymore than we did when Hitler decided he wanted to control the world. You're wrong about Bush vs Kerry. Fortunately, the majority of Americans agree with me. Although disappointed in recent events in Iraq, when asked which candidate can better deal with international terrorists, the majority of the American people answered....GW Bush.
