I had the same feeling. I vacillate between believing that he is completely-in-another-world-wacko, and that he is the biggest liar since Nixon. Either way, his view of the world is so skewed from reality, it's hard to even imagine what may be going on in his mind. Other than he is choking, realizing that his twin nightmare of losing the war on Al Qaeda and fumbling a huge lead in the polls. He does not yet realize that the best course for him is to lose; like a gambler who doesn't know when to quit while he is down. He must go.
