Sometimes the simplistic concept is the easy way to the direct answer. I know we are talking complex ores, but apply just a little heat just might be the key to unlocking the answer. A friend sent me an assay procedure for complex ores, and it appears that boiling will destroy the result whereas warming with addons will not.
