Hi Friends My friend and I were talking about why certain parts of the Americas done better throughout the ages than others.. For example, why did the the US do better in overall social conditions than Latin America.. Well we know. <g>.. We the US were not conquered by conquistadors to plunder only for the wealth to CARRY back to the old world.. The US as we know it, was primarily settled by the WASPS to build a new life.. Although there were a lot of warts on that process, like getting rid of the indigenous population to do that..Another Story, A BAD, a VERY BAD story but still slightly better than certain areas that were only INVADED for their MATERIAL wealth to be carried back to their homeland.. And to leave only the spoils behind.. See it now MY FRIENDS, What will happen to Iraq.. Take over the story now, if you can.... I think most will get the analogy, should get the analogy, but who knows. Based upon my observation of the LACK of crtical, free thinking here on SI.. I have my doubts if they can relate past experience throughout the ages with current actions.. IF THEY COULD, they would have wrote the above ALREADY, because I can be beat mentally and physically, sometimes..<g> c
