MS's file search on the desktop works VERY WELL

This statement is too funny. I still sometimes try to search for a file using the Windows Explorer search functionality in Windows XP, but about 2/3rds of the time it doesn't find the file I specify, and then I have to download and use a command line grep to find it because the Windows XP search functionality simply doens't work... I often dream myself back to the Windows 2000 days when it still worked. The same problems applies to all the Windows XP versions I've experienced, btw., and no update has fixed it yet. Grep always finds what you are looking for, btw.

Additionally, the user interface is awful - try to see how many people who aren't able to modify the search and re-run it... my experience says that more than 50% fail in doing the desired task because the user interface is so bad.

the way the internet will work when XML is adopted

Do you have any basic understanding of networking protocols and XML? If yes, how on earth should this be understood?

Dybdahl.
