The Washington Post's Jim Hoagland was one of THE BIGGEST hawks out there...he supported our pre-emptive strike on Iraq...It's interesting that he now is quite critical of The President and the way he has executed...It all comes down to leadership and the buck stops in the Oval Office.

IMO, Hoagland is right on target when he singles out the incredible secrecy that the Bush / Cheney regime feels it must use to operate...

<<...the obsession with secrecy that is a cancer at the center of your administration...>>

What Hoagland didn't mention was how our pre-emptive war with Iraq has caused U.S. credibility around the world to suffer greatly...I'm not sure that many allies trust Mr. Bush and his team anymore.

It may be time for a new CEO and a new leadership team...Their mantra should be "TRUST BUT VERIFY" -- NO MORE WARS BASED ON FAULTY INTELLIGENCE...OUR NATION CAN NOT AFFORD THEM.
