There is probably is no mystery to the Mycoprex issue. It's probably unapprovable just like all the other bpi products that Xoma has put through clinical trials.

You did bring up one good point. If Mycoprex was as good as you believe there should be a host of partnerships lining up to help fund clinical trials, but there aren't.

I'll make a gentleman's bet with you. Xoma may try to sell Mycoprex to a third party, but they will not partner with anybody to fund Mycoprex trials. It would be like co-owning a legless horse and running it at Belmont. What would be the point?

Just my conjecture of course.
