With simple but engaging gameplay, the first Worms game won
convert after convert and award after award when it was first
released about a year and a half ago. The next game in the series
promises extremely similar gameplay (so as not to disappoint
fans) but also ands a host of new weapons, options and actions
for your annelid warriors.

As with the first game in the series, Worms 2 features painfully
cute worms, each having a serious arsenal of weapons at their
disposal. The object is to have your team destroy all of the other
worms on the board by using these weapons in a strategic
fashion.

All of the old weapons and tools from the first game are back
but so are new weapons such as the flying sheep, the mad cow,
buy bulls, banana bombs and loads more. British humor is
cheerfully maintained through the frequent and faithful voice
characterizations from each of the worms.

Totally new in this version are the SVGA graphics that provide
loads more details than the original did. Character animations are
incredibly smooth and details, while backgrounds now have
more dynamic elements.

Also, Internet play will be supported for up to eight players. As
with the original, players can create their own teams and one can
have as many as eight worms per team. Microprose has plans
for at least one online service to hold regular tournaments for the title.
