unimaginable... but i can see how that sort of thing happens i was hiking last february in utah, was only meant to be gone a couple of hours (sticking to the trail) but found my way into a part of the canyon i hadn't seen before and it just keeps drawing you inside... i was totally unprepared, just a cell phone and water and a couple of protein bars...and it hit me i was out in the middle of nowhere and nobody knew i was gone...and i kid you not, i remembered that story and thought, damn i don't even have a knife...<vvbg>
