Feminism. For example, one of the major bug-a-boos of those who use the phrase "cultural Marxism" is feminism. They actually are stupid enough to equate Marxism with feminism. A lot of very articulate media savvy feminists are on the left, so they make assumptions. The loony part of the right and certain religious types simply don't think feminists are legitimate in their concerns and will say anything at all - marxists, nazis, dykes - as long as the label is perjorative. Like a some male writing, a very small amount of more exaggerated feminist output is on the edge of lunacy and give these guys ammunition. Historically, feminists have been concerned with making political and economic rights of women equal to those of men. And with putting them into historical record in a more significant way than heretofore so the prestige of women is equal to that of men. In accomplishing these things we find the devil is in the details.... It's going to take a while until things settle down
