JS,

I was never firmly committed to Howard Dean because as that linked article proves, he leans too far to the left with his election 2000 "invalid" nonsense and other extreme positions. Upstanding Americans like Bob Dole & Christie Whitman would never have supported suppression of legal votes from any side of the politcal spectrum. However, I was sincere in my support for John Edwards because I believe he's more moderate than both Dean & Kerry.

Recent events in Iraq have cured my moment of weakness before the Iowa caucuses, when job outsourcing seemed to be the nation's priority issue. Hopefully, a newly re-elected GW Bush will have time for average Americans' concerns once the shift of power takes place in Iraq.
