You are spending too much time dancing these days, Bill. Oh, by the way, before I type a response to the above, I'm reading the Stephenson book, The Confusion. About half way through. Not the best piece of historical fiction I've ever read but a good read nonetheless.
As for cultural Marxism, I objected to its use to cover arguments about race, gender, sexual orientation, and the like. Doesn't fit and it's only used by conservatives like Lind to defame the other side, "them" as Karen says. There is, however, a school of research/thought in Britian labeled cultural Marxism which addresses the issue I noted in my first post on this topic, that of the frequently noted disparity between base and superstructure. |
