You are a bit more of a fool than I though, I am afraid. You think that if we buy our oil elsewhere the terrorists will go away and start liking the the U.S.? Jeez, you really do not get it.

I view human nature differently than you. I think if you punish murderers it deters them. And I think freedom and democracy make fewer terrorists than religius kingdoms and brutal dictators that hord the wealth for themselves. You seem to think they will not be murderers if we pull our business out of the middle east.

It is the central battlefield against the terrorists right now. I guess you would rather them be spread out and planning mayhem than having the might of the United States armed services meeting and destroying them on the battlefiled. Sure glad that you are not in charge.

What? I guess if Iran "smiles like a Chesire Cat" we should get the hell out iyo. Neither of our positions can be completely verified, but my guess is the religious leaders are pooping their pants right now and hoping beyond hope that those like you that oppose the U.S. will cause a withdrawl. Their own country is already close (relatively speaking) to heaving the religious guys out and trying representative government out themselves. To have a funcitional and prosperous representative society next must be terrifiying to the religious leaders.
