I repeat that if there is any validity to global dimming, and they do have measurements showing the earth receiving less sunlight, then its more likely that global warming is real and that the warnings have not been "consistently pessimistic".

According to your own article the theory is not widely accepted. Also if global dimming happens it serves to counteract global warming makeing warming less severe not worse.

That's exactly my point........it would appear that global dimming has kept temps from rising faster than they already have assuming there is validity to the theory. If it weren't for global dimming, things could be much worse.

No one has said a "huge %tage".......that's your interpretation.

Many people have talked about the huge cost of Kyoto, and if the global warming alarmists theories are true Kyoto would not be enough so the cost would even be larger. Yes you can spread the cost over billions of people but it so big that it will have a painful impact even then.

Again, it doesn't have to be done in one year. Besides, I have faith in our ability to pull it off without derailing the world economy.
