I didn't mean to say that anglos were what made the US successful. I only meant to say that the reason the US was successful was that people that came and settled the US were looking for a new home, a new life, rather than plunder but they JUST happened to be WASPS..
But this little exchange is such a good example of a person like myself just posting musing on things. These type of subjects are what I like to talk about face to face, the philosophical "WHY".. Where in real life, it is so fun, but not here, (cyber) unless a person is online all their waking hours defending and explaining their every word. .. Because there is always someone out there ready to PARSE every word in a confrontational and useless way I might add. From those, maybe, that can not come up with a "reason why"..
I don't know, But I have better things to do than explain the meaning of "sex".. Clinton was above that stuff too.. Don't you wish people like him were still in charge here? I do and I know damn well most of the world do too..
So carry on and "suarte".. Is it?, I hope. Someone will probably correct me if I'm wrong.. I don't mind, I am wrong a lot about little things, but seldom wrong about big things, things that really matter..
