Sunglass Hut International Announces General Manager For Watch
Station
MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--August 21, 1997--Sunglass Hut International announced today that Eric Schumann has been
named Executive Vice President and General Manager of Watch Station.
In his new position, Schumann will be responsible for strategy, development, and day-to-day operations of Watch Station, a
division of Sunglass Hut. Currently there are 69 Watch Stations located throughout the United States and the United Kingdom.
Prior to joining Sunglass Hut, Schumann spent over seven years at The Limited -- The Limited Stores Division, with various
merchandising responsibilities including accessories, legwear, gifts and watches. In 1992, Schumann left The Limited and
became President of the Jewelry Division of Liz Clairborne until December 1994. Subsequently, he became Senior Vice
President and General Merchandising Manager for Petrie Stores with multi-divisional responsibility for Petrie's 550 Stores. In
addition, Schumann has prior experience with Avon Products.

Schumann holds a Bachelor's Degree in History from C.W. Post College, N.Y. He begins his new position at Sunglass Hut
September 2, 1997 and will report directly to the Chairman and acting President and CEO James N. Hauslein.
