Dont you think Kerry is being truthful when he says that he felt as a man of privelige he felt an obligation to go to vietnam? Or do you think he went their at age 21 for votes. You pillory clinton for avoiding and evading and you pillory kerry for volunteering. But what cheney (and i) did doesnt bother you? I dont get it. OR maybe i do, you just dont like that kerry turned against the war and associated at a young age with some despicable folks who were part of the extreme left. I did the same when protesting the war back home. A close friend and me were politically savvy and knew we were allied with some bad folks and did everything we could to keep the anti-war movement within the mainstream and out of their control. I think kerry was trying to do the same thing. Mike
