just posting musing on things. There are different threads for different reasons. There are quite a few for musing. I admit that they often a thread described as a "porch" is for musing, but in this case the thread name was chosen by the originator (Soros) and not by the person mentioned in the thread (Scott) and is itself more commentary than descriptive. When you initiated your general post on the subject you ended with the following lines: <font color=blue> Based upon my observation of the LACK of crtical, free thinking here on SI.. I have my doubts if they can relate past experience throughout the ages with current actions.. IF THEY COULD, they would have wrote the above ALREADY, because I can be beat mentally and physically, sometimes..</font> Now that sounds more like an invitation to a brawl than a musing, and considering that brawls are a frequent component of this thread ... Otherwise, you have an interesting point. North America is probably lucky that it did not have the obvious signs of gold and silver that were found in the Andes. TP
