I was right on my first guess. Talking to you about Iraq is like trying to talk to a WWII vet about VietNam in 1969.

You have made some very good points (name calling aside). However, you are clearly still trying to clear your conscience over VietNam. That 'War' (not) is over and the Iraq War has been over for over a year.

"back in VNam, we thought little of several hundred paraplegics and men sporting prosthetics..."

I don't know who the 'we' is you're talking about. I lived near Fitzimons Army hospital and spent some time on the Wards visiting. I also put serious energy into protesting on the street. There is definitely a point that I would start protesting our presence in Iraq, and the emphasis on 'get the terrorists'. This is not it. They know its an all or nothing campaign. Its time that the American people realized that. We can resolve this in the short term or begin preparing for WWIII down the road, which may happen anyway.

Leaving Iraq now is not leaving us or the world in a safe condition.
