Closed out BKS. Had been impatient with remainder of my position and yesterday's negative WSJ article spurred me to act. (react?) aside: Thanks, guys - appreciate the discussion back in '02 on this stock. Trimmed back a bit of VC, a past TimbaBear pick. Added to my underwater position of Dale Baker pick MXBIF. Nervous and impatient holding a MAXS short, I finally covered half my small position this am at a small loss. Yesterday, the Jones buyout offer was increased from $20 to $22.50. My cap's off to all those who've held to see this increase come through. I still don't see the value of the stock beyond $22.50 for non-controlling shareholders. (Although plenty of people apparently do see a higher value, according to a media report.) Because I've been wrong since the first offer was announced, I'll assume I'm wrong now too, and I'll likely close my short tomorrow. finance.yahoo.com I like DVN at current price.
