I hope you're right on that last sentence, but I still hear from folks who have been most hurt by his Presidency and many of them love the guy. Of course, I live in Texas, which may be skewing the sample a bit. <G> I think a lot of it has to do with professing to be an evangelical Christian, though I didn't see the same folks embracing Jimmy Carter. I love evangelicals, but they are gullible. Jimmy Swaggart had to get caught with hookers several times before they kicked him out of the ministry, and still a lot of people think he just made a mistake.
