Don,

English is my second language. Hence I would never hold anything against someone whose English is not good. I did not vote for Arnold not because of his accent or his English. In that aspect he mirrors me as far as mastery of English grammar and accent. The reason I did not vote for him has more to do with the morality of a recall. Recalls are disruptive IMO. So I voted more against the recall than for Davis or against Arnold.

And BTW Bush and Carter pronounce the word nuclear the same. They do so because of the natural twist of their tongue and that is a physical condition. What I am saying is that in the case of Abu Ghraib, Bush has not taken the time or bothered to pronounce it correctly or consistently. His attention to that is what I am focussing on.
