I recognize one respectable biotech-related company on the list - Pharsight, now fallen on hard times and relegated to the BB. There are a couple of promotional-type nanocap biotechs on the list, but nothing that I have ever followed. (In general I stay far away from BB biotechs - biotech generally needs too much financial muscle for tiny companies to succeed - it's tough enough with $200m in the bank, let alone $2m).

Mostly I suspect these stocks are depressed because their fundamentals are terrible, not because they are the victims of illegal shorting (although that of course might be the case as well).
