Major CEOs went with this technology becasue they were promised these gains and the engineers convinced them that it worked on paper. Working commerical systems were not running when the majority of those decisions were made. Unfortunately when they tried to make it work in the real world, the promised savings/improvments did not materialize. Its because they have already made the $1billllion+ investments that they can not go back. If CDMA is so superior why do the number of new networks being build with non/CDMA technology still outnumber those with? I listed numerous instances where CDMA has not met its claims. Show me where it has.
