Bush did his duty in the guard. I would encourage democrats to start bashing guard service. That'll go over REALLY good this year. It's genuinely silly to redebate this old stuff. If the Bush folk are so hyped about going back to Vietnam stuff, why don't they do more of it. Their ads are all focused on fairly recent stuff. As for Bush and the guard, his problem was that there are still far too many questions out there as to what led to those several months in which he disappeared; and far too many answers as to how a select few, very privileged kids got into the unit he was in, as a way to keep from going to Vietnam. Rove, definitely, doesn't wish that comparison to come up.
