First of all I'd recommend going to Amazon.com and under software type in voice recognition...then pick IBm ViaVoice Standard v.10 and Dragon Naturally Speaking 7 Preferred. Then read what users say about the product. Some good info about system requirements and how user friendly they are or aren't. I've heard that the more powerful the computer the better they work...so a reasonably decent pc will probably be a plus. A good site to check out for computer deals from the major pc makers is techbargains.com...check the Top System Deals on the upper left side.
