It "seems" indeed... but it doesn't in fact. The rush for oil seems to be the prime mover driving the US foreign policy because that's the way US spinmeisters want it! "Oil" is a convenient, yet bogus, rationalization to fool the leftist fringe of US/world opinion... After all, was there any oil in Bosnia? Kosovo? Afghanistan? Oh, but of course! Oil PIPELINES were the issue then... LOL! I for one never fell for such baloney. No, the real focus of US foreign policy is what I've called the Judeo-Christiano-Muslim squall-line: all major US interventions have been, and will continue to be, aimed at defusing, mediating --or exacerbating-- the flashpoints on the line demarcating the Muslim world from its Judeo-Christian challenger....
