John, sorry for taking so long to respond to your inquiry; I only noticed it today. I attended Vicor's shareholders meeting during which it announced the long awaited release of its next generation power supply technology. If what they claim is true, they have a record of straight talk, this new series product will render oblsolete all currently produced converter technology. The new product is smaller, has fewer parts, is cheaper to make, has a broader power output range and produces less heat. The competition will have to stand up and take notice (Zytec, Computer Products and others).

From a balance sheet perspective, Vicor has cash in the bank (1 to 2 dollars per share), no long term debt and a state of the art manufacturing facility both in Andover and Japan thru its licensee Japan tobacco.
